One of my finest memories from the early trips to Thailand was the trip on a speedboat from my hotel in Koh Samui to the full moon party on the nearby island of Koh Phangan, what an amazing night that was being picked up by the speed boat late at night, rocketing over the dark waves to the unknown party island capital of Thailand… then the speedboat back around 7am the next day where I had a much needed rest in the beach front hotel after all the raving!.
