Picked one of these up earlier as it’s a cheap and quick backup solution – bought it to stick next to my drive at work to keep backups on. Small so possibly not ideal for large data storage of videos etc but ideal for backup of work documents and the like. Speed is reaonable (SATA drive) so no cheap IDE drives here.
It is marked as a hard drive caddy/enclosure on the box – the only give away that there is a hard drive is inside it is that there is a small sticker saying 80GB.
