Please make sure you read the full deal before voting, this doesn’t involve redemption. The work involved to get this price takes 1 hour maximum when you receive the phone and 10mins maximum after 9 months.

How To Get To The Deal
———————————–
Links won’t get you straight to the deal because of the menu system on dialaphone.
1. Follow the deal link. This takes you to the List of offers for the Arc S on Dialaphone.
3. Set the network as O2 only.
4. The deal is the second cheapest, based on effective costs.

Work Involved
——————–

3. Remove data bolt on. (10mins, talk to an O2 advisor online, say “Bought a contract with an internet bolt on, don’t want the bolt on anymore, I have not used any internet, please remove it”, they will ask for your security question (post code when you purchased the phone..)
4. Fill in O2 cashback forms and send in the post. (30mins)
5. After 9 months log in online at O2 and downgrade contract (5mins, is done with a couple of clicks online)

Questions and Answer
——————————–
Q. What’s the use of a smartphone without data, you’ve just removed the data so it’s not worth doing.
A. Look at this deal as buying a £350 phone for £112 and paying for it over 24 months, you would then use your Payg sim card in it. You also then get the upgrade offers after the contract has ended.

Q. O2 states you can only downgrade after half of your contract has finished, why do you say you can downgrade after 9 months?
A. The contract I received through the post states that you can downgrade after 9 months. There have been a lot of offers similar to this posted on here and everyone has had the same contract that states you can downgrade after 9 months. If they don’t allow you to – they are breaking the contract. In the unlikely event your contract states 12 months, this deal will be £15 more expensive.

Q. What is the Sony Ericsson Cashback?
A. Sony Ericsson are offering £25 cashback to anyone who buys an Xperia Arc, Xperia Ars S or Ray before the 31st December. Follow this link: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cashback/

Q. Are there any risks?
A.
1. Quidco cashback isn’t guaranteed
2. Being able to downgrade after 9 months isn’t guaranteed, if there isn’t a lower tariff to downgrade to in 9 months, you won’t be able to downgrade.
Both are very very unlikely, but possible.

Any questions, I will try to answer as soon as possible. I took this contract out a couple of months ago, although it wasn’t with the Sony Cashback, I successfully Removed the data bolt on, paid by Quidco and also received the £110 Automatic cashback via cheque, so if you have any questions about the process, let me know. icon smile (6 Days Only)(Possible Total of £112) Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S White O2 21.50/month @ Dialaphone

CB period extended to next year it seems. “To claim your £25 cashback, simply download your voucher, print out and fill in your claim form. Then send it to us by 31st January 2012, along with proof of purchase and your IMEI code.”

Nokia e5 white online at o2 for £99.00 @ O2 Full qwerty keyboard

Nokia e5 white online at o2. Yes I know it’s Symbian and that there is a lot more bang for your buck available. But for those that like the full qwerty keyboard and want great email capabilities then this appears a more attractive offer than the blackberry equivalent. 600mhz processor 5mp camera. Build quality and looks imo way beyond 8520. Maybe some takers. Originally posted by renegade27 7 weeks back. Must be back in stock.

HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio™ on O2 for £18.58 (£21.50 without £70 redemption) at Dial-a-Phone

After the recent major let-down by Apple and the inferior 4S at £699+ – which is a tad better than my current iPhone 4) I’ve decided I may finally jump the boat & look around for an Android based phone.

Looking around & found this deal for a smartphone that is MORE powerful than anything in the market at the moment, it beats the Samsung S2 and is far superior to the iPhone 4s. Here’s hoping some of you agree – would be useful to get some decent comments about the pro’s/con’s etc… I just felt this was an exceedingly high spec phone for an overall cost of just over £445 less than the cheapest iPhone 4s AND you get it on contract.

Here’s the info on the deal:

HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio™ – O2

Features

8 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash
Facebook and Twitter Application
SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM
Longer life battery with 1730mAh battery
1.5Ghz dual core processor
GPS with A-GPS support
Digital compass (magnetometer)
4.3″ qHD screen with contoured glass
Beats Audio Tecnology
Android Operating System
Micro USB connector and charging
HTML
HTC Watch service
Java enabled
Google Search, Maps, Gmail
YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa integration
Organiser
Document Viewer

Contract is with O2 (O2 100 DATA ), you get the following:

100 minutes per month
500 texts per month
24 Month Contract
500mb Mobile Internet – With this great deal you will also be entitled to 500MB* mobile Internet absolutely free! subject to a fair usage policy of 500MB data allowance per month (not brilliant but due to the next item it shouldn’t really matter)
Unlimited Wi-fi Access – With this great deal you will also be entitled to Unlimited* Wi-Fi browsing absolutely free! (Unlimited Wi-Fi in O2’s Cloud Network is subject to a fair usage policy)
Line rental is £21.50 but there is £70 cashback by redemption (3 installments only – so not as bad as some plus Dial-A-Phone are pretty good at paying cashback) so effective rate is £18.58pm

Overall cost is £454.92, a sim-free version is around £499. You’re also getting the £100+ headphones plus TopCashBack of £45.45

So the effective cost of this contract is £400.47 which works out at £100 less than the Sim-Free/PAYG model or £16.68pm contract. Seems like a good deal to me.
