With Mobile Word Congress just around the corner, we’re gearing ourselves up for lots of exciting smartphone announcements. So we’re going to start as we mean to go on by talking to you about Samsung’s latest offering, the Samsung Galaxy S Advance. I’m happy to confirm that it’ll be coming soon to Three.

First things first, the exterior. One of my favourite things about the Samsung Galaxy S Advance is its gorgeously tactile curved glass design which I think you’re going to love, it looks stunning.

Looks aren’t everything though, right? The hint is in the name but the Galaxy S Advance is a really powerful smartphone too. It comes with a fast 1.0GHz dual core processor which makes the user experience super-quick and smooth.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance also features a 5 megapixel camera with HD video and playback, which can be enjoyed in vivid colour on the large 4-inch super AMOLED screen.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance is coming to Three.

Samsung are set to officially unveil the Samsung Galaxy S3 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. Hotly tipped to be the smartphone of 2012, we sift through the rumours and hype to establish what the Galaxy S3 will feature.
With the highly successful Galaxy range, Samsung have the world at their feet. The Samsung Galaxy S2 was crowned the bestselling smartphone in the UK for December. With sales that challenge the iPhone head on, it’s no wonder why the next instalment of the Galaxy S range is so eagerly anticipated.

Could this be the Galaxy S3?

During the international CES conference, Samsung slipped in a clip of an unknown smartphone during their official promo video. Is this the Samsung Galaxy S3? Demonstrating a thinner bezel strip around the display, the screen appears larger than the Galaxy S2 and would match the rumour of a 4.6 inch display; 0.3 inches larger than the Samsung. Whether this image is the genuine Samsung Galaxy S3 or just a fake remains to be seen. It’s certainly a clever marketing stunt for Samsung to raise the excitement bar and get the press talking on their mysterious handset.

Snap it up with the S3

Circulating rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will come equipped with a 12 megapixel camera. With key 2012 releases such as the Sony Xperia S already confirmed to have a resolution of this scale, it’s more than likely that Samsung will want to build upon the Galaxy S2’s 8 megapixel camera with their next generation release. With Apple also expected to upgrade their 8 megapixel camera with the release of the iPhone 5, Samsung have a great opportunity to steal exposure from Apple’s future handset by offering the technology sooner and stealing the wow factor from under their rivals noses.

Hungry for Ice Cream Sandwich? The S3 is.

It’s a dead cert the Galaxy S3 will come pre-loaded with the tasty new addition to the Android family. With a refined and evolved user interface, Ice Cream Sandwich is even more efficient for multitasking. This is great news for the Samsung Galaxy S3, which is rumoured to house a 1.8 GHz dual core processor which would storm through high end games and applications without breaking a sweat.

Galaxy S3 release date?

Following the World Mobile Congress in February, it’s highly likely that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will grace the UK shops within weeks of its announcement. Korean electronics manufacturers Samsung have reported end of year mobile phone sales of over 300 million. Comfortably beating last year’s record, Samsung have breezed past their 2010 best of 280 million units.

Part of Samsung’s success can be attributed to the Galaxy S smartphone series. Q3 of the financial year reported Samsung’s first time as the largest selling smartphone manufacturer worldwide, toppling Nokia from their throne. Both the Galaxy S and Galaxy S2, running the widely popular Android OS, are reported to have contributed significantly to the record breaking year.

In addition to the latest technology, Samsung also offer a wide range of budget handsets which all contribute to the record breaking year.

With a Samsung Galaxy S3 release anticipated as early as February 2012, Samsung look to set to steal a head start from the iPhone 5 in the battle of the next generation smartphones.

I have looked around absolutely EVERYWHERE trying to get a 600+ mins deal as my current contract is ending soon. I called Orange, O2 and 3 mobile directly to get them to match this deal and the closest any of them came to was £28pm for 600mins, with no upfront cost.

This deal works out to:
£20 x 24 months = £480
£480 + £79.99 = £559.99

£559.99 / 24 months = £23.33 (effectively) per month.

Factor in £60 Quidco or TopCashback and it’s £499.99/£20.83pm.

Or quite simply, you pay £20 for the handset and £20pm for an excellent tariff.
